My first book, Natural Connection, was published 2 months ago, and since then, I’ve been travelling around the UK (and Europe) on the first leg of my very first book tour. I had very little expectation for what this time would bring, and I have been so wonderfully overwhelmed and touched by just how many people, and from so many different walks of life, have connected with this book. The biggest gift, for me, has been how intimate and vulnerable you have all been in these spaces; we’ve laughed, cried, and grieved together, and the spaces we’ve shared have held so much tenderness, candidness, confusion, fear, and curiosity.
We are living through a time of horrors: violence, genocide, and environmental collapse. And in these times, it often seems easier to accept the end of the world than to hope and act for its survival. I wrote this book to show that we are more resourced, more powerful and wiser than we have been made to believe. That we come from a lineage of individuals deeply connected to and fiercely protective of the Earth, individuals who continue to live through us today.
Massive thanks to my wonderful publicist at Mia, my incredible agent Emma and my loving husband, friends and family who have been the best support system through this time!
I couldn’t share images from every event or bookshop, but a HUGE thank you to all the wonderful booksellers, bookstores and festivals who have hosted me and facilitated book signings over this time – we authors wouldn’t be able to do this without you!
Last but not least, thank you to every single one of you who has attended an event or book signing; it has been a privilege!
